Oakcreek Country Club is a Semi-Private, 18-hole golf course located in Sedona, Arizona.
Oakcreek first opened for play in 1967. The course was designed by the famous father and son team of Robert Trent Jones Sr. and Robert Trent Jones Jr. The course is considered by many to be a work of art. The par 72, 18-hole championship golf course is nestled among the red rocks of Sedona, Arizona.
The golf course is a traditional layout similar to those that you may find in the midwestern United States. The fairways are classic tree-lined doglegs with fairway bunkers strategically placed in the landing areas in the usual Trent Jones manner. The greens are all slightly elevated and surrounded by large swirling greenside bunkers. The course is "player-friendly," allowing plenty of room for error but always with an opportunity to recover and get errant shots back into play.
The golf course consists of 145 acres, including three lakes. Water comes into play twice on the front nine between the #1 and #9 holes. On the back nine, the water comes into play on holes #13 and #16 and occasionally on hole #15. The signature hole is #4, a 187-yard par 3, with a beautiful mountain backdrop.
Recent golf course renovations include new concrete cart paths, and all the greenside bunkers were rebuilt.

Fantastic layout and very challenging. Large trees line most fairways. Greens are sloping but not unfair. Excellent conditions. I would play this course often if I lived nearby. Nice views of red rocks on the back nine.

One of the most stunning scenery courses in Arizona. Course plays up to Robert Trent Jones expectations, hard par and easy bogie. A truly satisfying golf experience.

Oak Creek beautiful Robert Trent Jones track in Sedona. A must play if in the area. The scenary is just wonderful. Greens were just punched, but the fairways and surrounding areas were in great shape. I want to come back so bad. My rating A-.
